目前,国内外的水稻联合收割机按其行走机构来说可分为两类,一是轮式的,二是履带式的,而这两种型式的联合收割机的整机重量全部由轮和履带来支承。轮和履带的接地面积较小,比压大,故在超湿田里行走时,土壤会压成很深的沟槽,这样不仅附着力小,而且行走阻力很大,因而行驶困难,甚至无法作业。为了解决湖田及深泥脚田的水稻收获,湖北省洪湖县农机科研所研制了一种新型的船式水稻联合收割机。
