《破损的戒指》中,主人公“我”无奈遭遇不幸的婚姻,但“我”心底清楚,女性的命运绝不是生来就注定是悲惨不幸的,“我”也不再满足于那些提倡隐忍和自我牺牲的消极思想。最终,“我”再也无法忍受与与丈夫的这段错误的婚姻,而且丈夫也丝毫没有悔改之意,因此“我”只有决定和他离婚,并深切告诫其他女性不要重蹈自己的覆辙。本文从呼吁人性解放的角度剖析旧时女性所受到的不公待遇,据此进一步了解作者清水紫琴的女权主张,并通过家庭、孝行对个人产生的负面影响这一侧面来重新解读这篇小说。
