With the continuous development of environmental engineering, foreign countries attach great importance to the study of workers’ working environment in recent years and strive to create a comfortable working condition. Britain and the United States and other major coal producing countries, set up a coal mine noise research institutes to strengthen the noise control and research in coal mines. According to the British Coal Mine Health Research Center studies have shown that: workers in more than 100 dB noise, without any protective measures, more than 5 hours of continuous work, will affect the auditory ability. Noise can induce other diseases, such as nausea, vomiting, tinnitus and other harmful to workers’ physical and mental health. In addition, noise often causes workers to feel irritated, distracted, slow to work, and less productive. The research center also measured the main underground noise source, and the results are shown in the table below. The measured noise at each point exceeds the allowable range of the human body (generally considered to be 70-80 dB, less impact on the human body), especially the main fan room up to 120 decibels, face rock drilling machine is also the main source of noise.
