曹禺(1910-1996)是中国现代戏剧史上一位杰出的艺术家,创作了《雷雨》《日出》《原野》《北京人》等优秀作品。曹禺自小接受传统戏曲的熏陶,扎根于传统的土壤,可以说是那些最有民族气味的东西将他引入了戏剧殿堂。与此同时他又广泛涉猎了古希腊悲剧、莎士比亚、易卜生到奥尼尔、契诃夫的西方戏剧,将中国传统戏剧与西方戏剧的精华相融合,把中国现代话剧尤其是悲剧艺术推向一个崭新的高度,丰富了表现手法,又开拓了表现领域。试从思想资源、戏剧结构特点变化以及“宿命论”三个方面对曹禺的作品进行分析和探讨,从而进一步挖掘和感悟曹禺悲剧的艺术特色及深刻意蕴。
Cao Yu (1910-1996), an outstanding artist in the history of modern Chinese drama, created outstanding works such as Thunderstorm, Sunrise, Wilderness and Peking Man.
