制备了掺Yb∶硼酸盐和Yb∶磷酸盐玻璃 ,并研究了它们的玻璃物理性质和光谱性质。掺Yb∶磷酸盐玻璃的热机械性质优于掺Yb∶硼酸盐玻璃。掺Yb∶硼酸盐玻璃的受激发射截面和荧光寿命分别为 0 5 3× 10 -2 0 cm2 和 0 85ms。掺Yb∶磷酸盐玻璃的受激发射截面和荧光寿命分别为 0 4 5× 10 -2 0 cm2 和 1 8ms。作为激光材料 ,掺Yb∶磷酸盐玻璃的综合性能优于掺Yb∶硼酸盐玻璃。用钛宝石激光器抽运Yb∶硼酸盐玻璃实现 8mW准连续激光输出。用波长为 976nm ,6W的LD抽运Yb∶磷酸盐玻璃获得了 6 2mW的连续激光输出 ,其斜率效率为 4 4 %。
Yb: doped borates and Yb: phosphate glasses were prepared and their glass physical properties and spectral properties were studied. The thermomechanical properties of doped Yb: phosphate glass are better than that of Yb: borate glass. Excited emission cross section and fluorescence lifetime of doped Yb: borate glass were 0 5 3 × 10 -2 0 cm 2 and 0 85 ms, respectively. Excited emission cross section and fluorescence lifetime of doped Yb: phosphate glass were 0 45 × 10 -2 0 cm 2 and 18 ms, respectively. As a laser material, the overall performance of Yb: phosphate-doped glass is better than that of Yb: borate glass. Pumping Yb: borate glass with a Ti: sapphire laser to achieve 8mW quasi-continuous laser output. A continuous laser output of 6 2 mW was obtained for pumping Yb: phosphate glass with a wavelength of 976 nm, 6 W LD with a slope efficiency of 44%.
