The “Crossing Order” consists of a total of ten sentences. Each sentence begins with a number and is embedded in the “1” to “10” numerals in sequence. Its form is neat, and the dwelling houses are in harmony, or they create a character image or reflect a social phenomenon. It is not uncommon in ancient and modern times, and there is no shortage of masterpieces. In the 17th edition of the “A Dream of Red Mansions”, the author used this form as a portrait of a visitor: a good word, second class, three pounds of liquor, four seasons clothes, five sons, six Kunqu operas, and seven characters. The poem, eight cards, nine titles, is very gentle.
