大卫·科兹教授与孟捷教授对谈新自由主义与中国经济的关系,科兹教授从什么是新自由主义、新自由主义在西方尤其是在美国的影响、新自由主义对中国改革开放的影响、新自由主义对目前中国经济政策的影响以及可能造成的后果、中国能够替代新自由主义的政策这五个方面进行了详细解答。孟捷教授以非国有企业、国家、地方政府三维组成的中国市场格局为切入点,指出在中国改革中,政府权力和国家对解决市场经济矛盾有着重要作用,因而改革开放以来的中国市场经济不是新自由主义所能解释的。大卫·科兹和孟捷教授都认为,改革以来的中国经济在总体上并不是一种新自由主义体制,但是这并不否认在中国经济中存在着不少新自由主义的因素。中国经济要想进一步发展,就应当抵制新自由主义的侵袭。
