老舍(1899-1966),满族,原名舒庆春,字舍予。北京人。现代著名作家,杰出的语言大师,人民艺术家。1924年赴英国伦敦大学任东方学院中文讲师,并开始从事文学创作。1936年回国后,先后任济南齐鲁大学、青岛大学教授。1966年8月被迫害致死。主要著作有短篇集《赶集》、《樱海集》、《蛤藻集》、等;长篇小说《骆驼祥子》、《四世同堂》等;戏剧《龙须沟》、《茶馆》等。现有《老舍文集》行世。
Lao She (1899-1966), Manchu, formerly known as Shu Qingchun, gave up the word. Pekingese. Famous modern writers, outstanding language masters, and people’s artists. In 1924, he went to the University of London in the United Kingdom as a Chinese lecturer at Oriental College and began to work in literary creation. After returning to China in 1936, he successively served as a professor at Qilu University and Qingdao University. In August 1966, he was tortured to death. His major works include short stories such as “Fashion”, “Sakura Haiji”, “Azalea Collection”, etc.; novels “Camel Xiangzi” and “Four Generations Together”; dramas such as “Longxugou” and “Teahouse”. The existing “Lao She Collection” is published.
