川藏小北线川藏公路是连通四川成都与西藏拉萨之间汽车通行的第一条公路。在此路修通前,千百年来,中国西南部各民族的经济、文化交往枢纽就是逶迤在横断山区和西藏高原的崇山峻岭之间,一条世界上地势最高、路况最为险峻的交通驿道--茶马古道。从四川雅安到西藏拉萨间的两千多千米,靠牦牛运输,一年只能往返一次,骑马旅行也需要半年多的时间。川藏公路于1950年4月
The Sichuan-Tibet Small North Line Sichuan-Tibet Highway is the first road connecting the cities between Chengdu, Sichuan and Lhasa, Tibet.
