在小学进行拼音字母的教学对提高识字教学的效率,推广普通话,改进语文阅读教学都起着很大的推进作用。小学生掌握了拼音字母,也就是获得了学习文化、科学的重要钥匙,他们可以用这把钥匙,帮助克服汉字难认的困难,多多识字,多多阅读,读准北京语音,学会普通话,从而迅速地提高文化知识水平。因此,我省许多学校非常重视拼音字母教学,从1958年下半年起在低、中、高年级都开始教了拼音字母,并且取得了很大成绩。但由于去年拼音课本供应得不够普遍,有些学校的中高年级就未教拼音字母;有些教师虽然教了,但只局限在为生字注音上,单纯把拼音字母作为帮助识字的拐棍来使用,而未充分利用拼音字母来帮助小学生学习语文,发挥拼音字母更大的作用,因而学生对拼音字母的知识就不够巩固和
