Judges’ Comments The jury praised the project for its excellent research and practical experiments. The designed concrete production process was developed by a team of professors in architecture and digital manufacturing at the Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland, a clever method of pouring highly complex geometrically defined concrete surfaces. It promotes a whole new production stage. First, the robot brakes the flexible forming surface to form a male mold to be poured later in the concrete shape. Then pour the liquid wax on the braking surface. Once cooled, the wax mold becomes a meta-template for the actual scene
