关于中日甲午战争期间北洋海军提督丁汝昌在刘公岛自杀一案,治史者百年来一直聚讼不休,持不同意见的人们,各据史料,反复论证,都在试图寻找能够具有更强说服力的第一手资料,或者直接证据。对于这些史料的把握,应该有一个统一的尺度,合乎一定的规范。本文试图运用证据法关于证据使用规则的知识,对那些曾经被人们在讨论中使用过的史料,一一加以辨析,为人们的判断提供一个参考。
Concerning the suicide of Ding Ruchang, a leader of the Northern Navy during the Sino-Japanese War of 1894 in the Sino-Japanese War, in Liu’s Island, the historians have been in endless suits for centuries. All who hold different opinions, according to historical sources and repeated arguments, are all trying to find more convincing Force first-hand information, or direct evidence. For the grasping of these historical materials, there should be a unified scale, in line with certain norms. This paper tries to use the evidence law’s knowledge of the rules of evidence usage to analyze the historical materials that have been used by people in the discussion one by one, and provide a reference for people’s judgment.
