有时候,我发现人们对某一件事或某一个人的看法不同,并不是因为他们有不同的价值观或评价体系,而是因为他们对这件事或这个人所拥有的信息资料不同所致。比如说,某公司的总裁在公开场合或媒体面前的言行,是一般老百姓都能获取的信息.大家根据这些信息形成对这位总裁的印象。而这位总裁身边的工作人员,每天与之有各种各样的交往,了解许多细节,他们就根据这些信息形成对她/他的印象。一般人的印象有可能与这些人的非常相似。也
Sometimes I find that people differ in their opinion of something or of an individual not because they have different values or systems of evaluation but because they differ in the information they have about the event or the individual . For example, the words and deeds of a company’s president in public or in the media are just what ordinary people can access, and everyone uses this information to create an impression of the president. And the staff member around the president has a great deal of daily contact with many details and they form an impression of her / him based on that information.
