The American Bureau of Agricultural Research has recently succeeded in developing a series of new corn varieties resistant to root nodules. These new varieties of corn not only allow most nematodes that spawn and hatch at their roots to die quickly, but also extend their larvae’s development into adults and reduce the number of adults that endanger the crop, thus achieving resistance to nematodes. This new maize variety is primarily resistant to root-knot nematodes and root-knot nematodes. Both nematodes can appear on the same farmland, especially in sandy soil fields.
