Based on questionnaire data of Nanjing citizens at the end of 2007, this paper analyzes citizens’ attitudes towards migrant children and their influencing factors from the perspective of social distance. The results show that compared with citizens’ attitudes towards migrant farmers, citizens’ attitude toward migrant children is relatively large. Citizens’ attitudes toward migrant farmers will be reproduced or copied into migrant children’s groups, which will not only result in discrimination and exclusion of migrant children, but will also be mapped to the cognition of migrant children, resulting in the free self and social cognition of migrant children, resulting in The marginal reproduction of this group makes it feel embarrassed as a “stranger” and confused as a marginalized person.
