A.F. Koch, famous for his in-depth research on Kant and German conceptism (especially Hegel), and very familiar with the contemporary achievements of analytic philosophy and pragmatism. This enabled him to understand German philosophy in a way different from its predecessors and in a way that is completely different from the two well-known analytic philosophers of Breton and MacDowell on both sides of the Atlantic Two different philosophical traditions make notable convergence. From Professor Koch, we can see how a philosopher who grew up in the European philosophical tradition absorbed and digested the fruits of analytical philosophy and tried to establish a new way of thinking.
