“图书馆是学校的图书资科情报中心,是为教学和科学研究服务的学术性机构,它的工作是教学和科学研究工作的重要组成部分”(国家高校图书馆工作条例)。书刊资料是图书馆各项工作的物质基础,是图书馆为教学、科研服务,发挥“耳目、尖兵、参谋”作用的前提。而丰富的、高质量的藏书,又需要经过多年的收集、系统的积累。也就是说,藏书建设是图书馆建设的中心环节。不过,由于教育学院图书馆建设起步较晚,基础薄弱,经济力量有限,这就需要我们使有限的投资,发挥最大的效益。在这方面,没有现成的模式可循,现结合“教育学院”的性质谈几点图书馆藏书的粗浅意见,以就教于方家。 教育学院是具有师范性质的高等学校,师范性是教育学院的本质属性。与普通师范院校不同的是,教育学院以培训在职中学教师、教育行政干部为己任,所以,它所实行的专业教育是职后师范教育。也就是说,它的在校学员是来自教育第一线的教育工作者。他们在校学习期间,既要掌握较高等的、合理的专业

Books and periodicals are the material basis of all the work of the library and the prerequisite for the library to serve as a teaching and scientific research and play the role of “seeing things in the forefront, cutting-edge, and advising staff.” The rich, high-quality collection, but also after years of collection, systematic accumulation. In other words, the collection of books is the central part of library construction. However, due to the late start of the library construction of the Institute of Education, the weak foundation and the limited economic power, this requires us to make limited investments and maximize the benefits. In this respect, there is no ready-made model to follow. In light of the nature of the “Institute of Education”, I will talk about the superficial opinions of several library collections in order to teach to Fang’s family members. College of education is a normal university, and teacher-training is the essential attribute of college of education. The difference with ordinary normal colleges and universities is that the Institute of Education should train serving secondary and middle school teachers and educate administrative cadres. Therefore, the professional education it implements is post-normal education. In other words, its current students are educators from the front line of education. During their studies in school, they should not only master higher-level and more reasonable majors
