研究性教学的核心理念在于激发学生学习兴趣、调动学生学习的积极性与主动性,启发学生独立思考,培养学生解决实际问题和发展学生的创造性思维能力。围绕上述理论,苏州科技学院大学外语部第二教研室根据学生英语学习和发展的特点,对已通过国家英语四级的10级同学开设多门可供学生选择的大学英语拓展课程,实施了启发式、互动式、自主式和探究式的研究性教学方法。实践证明研究性教学是促进学生主动发展、提高教学质量的重要措施。
The core concept of research-based teaching is to stimulate students’ interest in learning, arouse the enthusiasm and initiative of students to learn, inspire students to think independently, develop students’ ability to solve practical problems and develop students’ creative thinking. Based on the above theory, based on the characteristics of students’ English learning and development, the Second Department of Foreign Languages Department of Suzhou University of Science and Technology opened a number of college English expansion courses for students to choose from, , Interactive, autonomous and inquiry-based research teaching methods. Practice has proved that research-based teaching is an important measure to promote students’ active development and improve their teaching quality.
