For nearly a decade, there has been no major change in discus throwing because of the emergence of a superior type of throwing technique in the 1960s that is still widely used by athletes today. As early as 1960-1970, Jay Silvestre created this type of technology, combining his athleticism with technology and power to continuously control the advantages of a worldwide discus race. Practice has proved that his throwing technique is successful and is viable. If the athletes are to succeed early, the technical illustrations attached to the text are easy to imitate.
