放射性测井是根据岩石及其空隙流体的核物理性质,研究井地质剖面,探勘石油、天然气、煤记忆铀等有用矿藏,研究石油地质、油井工程和油井开发的地球物理方法,是地球物理测井的一个极为重要的分支。放射性测井具有十分独特的有点,使用放射性测井能够在井下快速的分析和确定岩石及其孔隙流体中的各种化学元素含量的有效方法,并且使用该方法能够不受井内介质的限制,在石油勘探和开发中,人们可以通过采用放射性测井方法来研究和划分地质剖面,用来检查油井工程的质量与测定底层的吸水面等。鉴于放射性测井的重要性,因此,弄清楚它们的单位表示以及换算关系极为重要。
