Identification cluster 44 (CD44) is an important class of non-classified adhesion molecules, widely distributed on the cell surface, is the molecular basis of the mutual recognition and function of cells and cells, and the extracellular matrix of cells. CD44 is a specific lymphocyte homing receptor, which is expressed on a variety of highly metastatic tumor cells. CD44-positive tumor cells may enter the lymph node metastasis easily due to disguise of similar lymphocyte components. CD44 gene is involved in the invasion and metastasis of many tumors. The abnormal expression of CD44 on the surface of breast cancer cells is closely related to the infiltration and metastasis of breast cancer.
