I. INTRODUCTION This paper aims to understand the phenomenon of Emerging technology, with particular emphasis on exploring the interaction and driving force of technological and socio-economic factors. Fifty years ago, Schumpter viewed technological inventions as the sole enabler of the economic development process. However, recent research has begun to reveal the interplay of all the factors in the process. Freeman summarized some of the more important studies that found that technological advances are closely linked to the long-term world economic cycle known as the Kondratiev cycle. Each long-term economic cycle lasts about 40-60 years, during which four different stages are experienced.
