The first seminar on direct reduction in China jointly organized by China Metallurgical Society and Ministry of Metallurgical Science and Technology Division was held at Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute from October 15 to October 17, 1992 and 78 delegates from 51 units attended the conference.
