有关“喻”这一语体标注的废留问题在词典界素有争议。本文从现代词典学和认知语言学的角度考察“喻”标注的起源、功能和语言学实质后得出结论:目前词典界对“喻”标注较为一致的共识是,传统的括注式缩略标注形式可能消失,但这并不意味着标注所传达的信息将会随之消失,而只是说明随着词典篇幅的增加,词典编纂者们有机会采用更费笔墨的方式来明确标示语词用法。从认知语言学角度出发,不管以何种方式传达传统的标注信息,“喻”标注这一持续了近两个世纪的词典传统都面临两个挑战:(1)比喻义的地位问题;(2)标注的覆盖面问题。
The question of discarding the “” metaphor of “” is controversial in the dictionary.
