存储网络业协会（SNIA）是一个非赢利性组织,由全球存储业内300多家公司和个人组成。SNIA成员有一个共同的目标:确保存储网络成为高效、完整和值得信息技术界信赖的解决方案,保证存储业的稳步发展。提供标准、培训和服务,推进开放式存储联网解决方案的发展,赢得更广阔的市场空间,这是SNIA的承诺。为了实现SNIA的目标,解决客户面临的互操作问题,并为客户提供更多的选择和灵活性,2001年6月,SNIA的部分成员公司又成立了SSF（获支持解决方案论坛）。
The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) is a not-for-profit organization comprised of more than 300 companies and individuals in the global storage industry. One common goal for SNIA members is to ensure that storage networking becomes a trusted, efficient and complete solution that is trusted by the information technology community to ensure the stable growth of the storage industry. It is SNIA’s commitment to provide standards, training and services, advance the development of open storage networking solutions and win broader market space. In June 2001, some member companies of SNIA established SSF (Supported Solutions Forum) in order to achieve the goal of SNIA, solve the interoperability problems faced by customers and provide customers with more choices and flexibility.
