由江西大学中文系和语言文字应用研究所共同主办的第二届全国社会语言学术讨论会于1989年11月4日至8日在江西省九江市举行。来自十三个省市的61位代表围绕着言语交际与交际语言的中心议题进行了热烈的讨论。代表们认为,由于我国方言众多,文化传统悠久,研究在复杂关系网络中的言语交际行为和交际语言,对于提高交际能力,建立良好的人际关系 The 2nd National Social Language Symposium co-sponsored by the Chinese Department of Jiangxi University and the Institute of Applied Linguistics and Writing, was held in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province from November 4 to 8, 1989. Sixty-one representatives from thirteen provinces and municipalities conducted lively discussions around the central topics of verbal communication and communicative language.
