Different from Ding Wenjiang and Hu Shi, who have a clear-cut attitude towards politics and resolutely put into action, Zhu Jingnong has no strict life planning nor is it often subject to drastic changes in life, Constantly move between. He is in the officialdom, but not like Ding Wenjiang, who raised his political level to “justice.” It seems that if he were not an official, he betrayed the mission of the intellectuals and lost the trust of the family. Run Qilu University, far from the officialdom, not like Hu Shi as one government “friends”, but once there is a chance to still go to school. Although Zhu’s life wandered between government and academics, he did not want to block himself in the corrupt and depraved political arena. However, under the pressure of life, it was hard to refute the powerful attraction of “learning and performing”. Strong amphibious. This state of his life can rather represent the embarrassment of some intellectuals looking for a trip to serve the country during the period of the Republic of China.
