Ben Jonson is a playwright who has been downplayed by the average reader for centuries. When it comes to Shakespeare, the role of Joan at this stage is immeasurable when it comes to the Renaissance English drama. In Shakespeare’s time, his reputation was not as high as Joan. Shakespeare’s success was recognized only after his death, and Joan was born in 1616 when he was 46 years old as a “crown poet”, and long before he won the “dramatist”, “fake Facial playwright ”and“ scholar ”and so on. Therefore, it is necessary for us to conduct a study of Joansen and his work without any prejudice and make a fair assessment of his role and influence during the Renaissance. This article tries to make a more detailed introduction to Joan’s life and his works. Joan’s character and some works also slightly comment.
