《义山杂纂》又常常简称《杂纂》,两者既是一回事儿又不是一回事儿。《义山杂纂》专指由唐代诗人李商隐分类辑录歇后语等俗语的专书。《杂纂》可作为其简称,但更主要是指发端于《义山杂纂》并包括其在内的历代续仿之作,例如唐代的《敦煌写本杂钞》(佚名),宋代的《杂纂续》(王君玉)、《杂纂二续》(苏轼),明代的《杂纂三续》(黄允交)、
