一、台湾的经济状况1、1998年台湾岛内总产值达87,469.34亿新台币,比1997年81,311.52亿新台币的产值增加6,157.82亿新台币,增长率为7.57％。2、人均收入1998年台湾地区的人均收入为365,024新台币,相当于10,918美元,1997年的人均收入为343,004新台币,1998年的人均收入比1997年的人均收入增加了22,020新台币,增长率为6.42％。3、总贸易额1998年台湾地区的总贸易额为2,152.47亿美元,其中出口额为1,105.82亿美元,进口额为1,046.65亿美元,贸易顺差为59.17亿美元。
I. Economic Situation in Taiwan 1. In 1998, Taiwan’s total island production value reached NTD 8,746.934 billion, an increase of NT$ 618.78 billion from the NT$ 81.137 billion in 1997. The growth rate was 7.57%. 2. Per capita income In 1998, Taiwan’s per capita income was TWD 365,024, equivalent to US$10,918. Per capita income in 1997 was NTD 343,004. In 1998, per capita income increased by RMB 22,020 from per capita income in 1997. It is 6.42%. 3. Total trade volume In 1998, Taiwan’s total trade volume was US$ 215.247 billion, of which exports were US$ 110.582 billion, imports were US$ 104.665 billion, and the trade surplus was US$ 5.917 billion.
