Carbon disulfide (CS2) is an industrially important raw material for production and common organic solvents. Long-term exposure to low concentrations of CS2 can cause multiple system damages such as nerve, cardiovascular and endocrine diseases. In recent years, its reproductive toxicity has aroused widespread concern of scholars at home and abroad. CS2 has a toxic effect on the reproductive system of the exposed population. The performance of the female workers is abnormal menstruation, abnormalities of sex hormones, prolonged conception and decreased pregnancy, pregnancy complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes. The male workers showed reduced sperm count and abnormal morphology Dysfunction, sex hormone secretion disorders, but also lead to increased spouse miscarriage rate, abnormal development of offspring and other adverse pregnancy outcomes.
