By examining Aristotle’s related discourse in “On the Movement of Animals”, this paper attempts to reconstruct his desire - the normal-new-action model from two aspects of psychology and biology, and points out that “ Newma ”played an important physical link in the process of desire-led action. This interpretation model provides the key support for Aristotle’s traditional thinking of breaking through the dualism of body and mind and combining the physical factors to illustrate the psychological process of human actors. On this basis, the article examines David Charles’s comments on Aristotle’s ideas and attempts to respond to possible criticisms, thereby defending Charles’s interpretation and defense of Aristotle. This paper argues that although Aristotle is still ambiguous about Purbumar in his article on the Movement of Animals, his psychophysical approach today still allows us to study the role of human activists Moral psychology provides important inspiration.
