模仿是創造的基础。让学生模仿課文进行写作练习,我們认为,这是提高学生写作能力的一个有效措施,也是学生练写作基本功的必要方法。近年来,我們在仿作练习方面,作了一些尝試,已經有了一定的收获。这种练习,一方面穿插在閱讀教学中进行,即是以一段課文为楷模进行仿作。閱讀課文中的一景、一人、一事或者是一段感想、一个道理,只要它有可供模仿之处,并且确有仿作的必要,都可指导学生仿作。比如指导学生模仿写景:我們在教高小語文第一册《飼养員赵大叔》一課时,就要求学生熟读文中描写下大雨的一段話。讲解时,把这段話概括为“刮风、起云、閃电、响雷、下雨”五个过程,接着又引导学生回忆自己的亲身經历来驗証,提示他們这几个过程是不能任意颠倒的。課后,布置了以“夏季的一場暴雨”为题的练习,并提示了一些詞語,要学生仿写成一段短文,学生一般都写得較好,如一个学生写道:
Imitation is the foundation of creation.
