On January 12, 2014, Tel Aviv’s parliament square in Israel represented flowers of condolences. Fireworks were celebrated in Palestine and the Palestine refugee camp in Lebanon. It’s all for one person. On the 11th, after being unconscious for eight years, Ariel Sharon, the ex-Israeli Prime Minister, was about to leave his 86th birthday. Regardless of love and hate, Sharon has become a name that can not be erased in the history of the Middle East. He is “God of War” in the hearts of Israelis and “Butcher” in the eyes of Arabs. As a soldier, he took part in almost every war since Israel’s independence. As a politician, he has been in power for nearly 30 years and has served as prime minister for five years until his death. The dispute has always followed him. He personally expanded the Israeli settlement plan to conquer the land and personally redeemed the plan to withdraw unilaterally from Gaza and the settlements in the West Bank.
