氢是一种用之不尽、取之不竭(来源于水)的二次能源,也是一种不会对自然环境产生污染及破坏的燃料。它是近年来极有希望的、有可能代替石油能源的一种新能源。最近,国外开始积极研制贮氢合金(系指吸收了氢气的金属氢化物),它不但可作为贮藏及运输氢气的一种手段,而且可利用它所具备的一种新功能——能量变换介质,而发展了它的新用途。本文简述贮氢合金的性质、特征、研究现况及其有希望的应用领域。
