文学作品的高雅审美,有时只有在与思想的胁迫、精神的痛苦挣扎中,才有可为地出奇上升。文学面对的是作品,而不是它存在的位置。我们不仅要打开故事叙述与生活之间更宽阔的空间,还要让审美与阅读有一个可供精神进行深度对峙与批判的外延存在。一个高度自觉的作家,他的作品必然具有个人参与人类历史的当下性。缺失政治维度的文学作品,是很难成为一部具有社会意义与美学高度的经典作品的。它应该高于生活的挑战,以批判的精神凸显政治维度而进人历史。以历史与虚构、现实与梦幻交叉互进的叙事,反映当代世界物质社会的现状与人类精神层面的多样性。叙事方式上的创新不仅是技巧,也是美学意义上的人性的拷问。叙事方式与故事内容不在于新奇,而在于精神的深度开掘。自由精神和想象力的严重缺失是当代中国作家普遍存在的问题,也成为当代中国作家发展的威胁。中国当代文学缺失的正是大气雄浑。文学作品是社会群体的精神混合剂。我们应该让伟大的生命在文学的创造体验中,显得更美好、更高尚,同时也被揭露得更丑恶、更卑贱。我们有充分的理由怀疑现实,但我们又有更坚定的信心相信生活。
The elegant aesthetic of literary works can sometimes rise unexpectedly only when struggling with the coercion and spirit of thought. Literature confronts the work, not the place where it exists. The lack of contemporary Chinese literature is the atmosphere of the powerful. Literary works are the spiritual mixture of social groups. We should make a great life look and feel better and nobler in the creative experience of literature. At the same time, we should expose more ugly and more humble. We have every reason to doubt reality, but we have a stronger faith in life.
