The basic ratios of making hollow blocks with rice hull and fly ash are L, C, M, and B, as shown in the table. The weight ratio of the different mixes (six blocks) (?) is designed to have the same L ratio as the insulated concrete. In order to obtain a concrete with a higher strength and a more homogeneous texture, the “filler” of fly ash added is obtained directly from the power plant without any processing. Adding fly ash has a great influence on the appearance and compressive strength of the block. In comparison, the M ratio with fly ash content of 54% is significantly better than the B ratio with fly ash content of 25% and zero.
