Looking back at the past 100 years of oil painting history in China, studying from the history of “young children” to “Geng-hegai” students to the Soviet Union in the 1950s and to the west after the reform and opening up took place in the transatlantic dreams of several generations of students ongoing. In the early 20th century, due to economic and geographical reasons, most of the overseas students chose Japan and Europe as their destinations. Therefore, the early Chinese oil painters were mainly influenced by the Japanese oil painting and the European oil painting, while the Japanese oil paintings at that time mainly learned and absorbed the Impressionist light painting and formed their oil painting style with their own geographical features. In Europe, French impressionism and many modern schools are the center of the world painting scene. Therefore, early Chinese oil paintings were directly or indirectly influenced by Impressionist painting.
