The Advanced P1acement Program, or AP Course for short, was developed by The College Board in 1955 for high school students to elect in grades 11 and 12 (9th to 12th grade high school). Established in 1900, AAU is a non-government, non-profit organization of more than 5,700 schools, colleges, universities and other educational organizations whose mission is to create the chances of successful university-based students.
