Many problems have been discussed about the transfer function and stability of the rolling mill hydraulic system. In this paper, we attempt to analyze several common hydraulic pressure-down systems with the Gurwitz stability criterion and find a stable limit. For higher-order characteristic equations, the calculation of this criterion is cumbersome, but after simplification, it can be concluded that it is valuable to system debugging.
