现行中学语文教材的编写传统肇始于《昭明文选》。从萧统至今,1500年过去了。这种文选型教材,注重文章教学,强调情感熏陶,有助于学生在反复历练中获得感悟,提高语文水平,在过去和现在,都为语文教学作出了巨大贡献。但是,随着人类文明的进步和社会文化的发展,这种文选体制也明显地表现出陈旧和落后的一面。比如,选文偏重文学而忽视实用,文章内容远离现实生活,重视读写而忽视听说,知识内容前后重复,能力训练杂乱无序,等等。因此,扬长避短,选优汰劣,改变现状,锐意进取,进行中学语文教材的整体改革,编写出崭新的中学语文教材来,实在是时代的呼唤和历史的必然。最近十几年来各地实验教材的编写,就是这种改革尝试的先声。
The tradition of writing the current middle school Chinese textbooks began with “Selected Works of Zhao Ming.” 1500 years have passed since Xiao Tong. This textual selection of textbooks, focusing on the article teaching, emphasizing the influence of emotions, help students gain experience in repeated experiences, improve language proficiency in the past and present, have made a significant contribution to the teaching of Chinese. However, with the progress of human civilization and the development of social culture, such a system of election and election obviously shows the old and backward aspects. For example, the essay emphasizes literature but ignores practicality. The content of the essay is far away from real life, focusing on reading and writing while ignoring it, repetitive knowledge contents, disorderly ability training and so on. Therefore, it is really the call of the times and the necessity of history that we should try our best to avoid weaknesses, select the best ones and eliminate the others, change the status quo, and strive for enterprising. We should reform the whole Chinese teaching materials in secondary schools and write brand new middle school Chinese teaching materials. The preparation of experimental teaching materials in the past decade or so has been the forerunner of this reform attempt.
