采用一种带有中间带的粉末轧制技术,非挥发性金属粉末ZrAl_(16)被轧到镍或不锈钢基带的一个或两个表面上。粉末颗粒被牢固地机械嵌入基带的表面。因而不需进行随后的烧结或用粘结剂。由于放在轧辊和粉末之间的中间带比粉末软,粉末颗粒在轧制过程中的破碎和变形被大大降低。轧辊的磨损也大为降低。所得带材是一种具有高比表面,高抗热震性和耐机械振动的高性能吸气材料。
Using a powder rolling technique with an intermediate belt, the non-volatile metal powder ZrAl_ (16) is rolled onto one or both surfaces of a nickel or stainless steel base strip. The powder particles are firmly mechanically embedded in the surface of the substrate. Thus, no subsequent sintering or bonding agent is required. The crushing and deformation of the powder particles during the rolling process are greatly reduced due to the fact that the intermediate belt placed between the roll and the powder is softer than the powder. Roll wear is also greatly reduced. The resulting tape is a high performance getter material with high specific surface area, high thermal shock resistance and resistance to mechanical vibration.
