印第安诗人哈荷是美国当代诗坛上的一位重要诗人。她非常关注印第安土著文化与美国当代社会价值观念的冲突,致力于表现由现代工业文明造成的美国当代异化社会中印第安人所面临的生存困境,并在自己的诗歌中探索一条图存之路。哈荷着眼于印第安民族传统,主张通过记忆实现向印第安神话世界的精神回归。这种回归突出了具有均衡位置与空间意识的生态思想,为解决当代社会人与人、人与自然之间的异化关系提供了有效的途径。
Indian poet Haha is an important poet in contemporary American poetry. She is very concerned about the conflict between Indo-Chinese indigenous culture and the values of contemporary American society and is dedicated to representing the predicament faced by Indians in contemporary American alienation caused by modern industrial civilization and exploring the road to its own poetry. Haha focus on the Indian national tradition, advocated through memory to achieve spiritual return to the Indian mythological world. This return highlights the ecological thinking with a balanced position and spatial awareness and provides an effective way to solve the alienation between man and man, man and nature in contemporary society.
