现代企业的数据量大约每6个月就会翻一倍,因此需要一种有效的方式去存储和保存这些数据。当前网络存储的主要方式有:直接连接存储(DAS)、网络连接存储(NAS)和存储区域网络(SAN)。文中介绍了这3种存储技术的特点,并比较了各自的优劣;详细介绍了SAN中基于10GbE(10gigabitEthernet)的iSCSI(Internetsmallcomputersysteminterface)SAN的优点,指出了它是网络存储发展的趋势。
The amount of data in modern businesses doubles roughly every 6 months, and there is a need for an effective way to store and save this data. The current main ways of network storage are Direct Attached Storage (DAS), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Storage Area Network (SAN). This paper introduces the characteristics of these three kinds of storage technologies and compares their advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of 10GbE (10gigabitEthernet) based iSCSI (iSCSI) SAN in SAN are introduced in detail, and it is pointed out that it is the trend of network storage.
