编辑本期“封面话题”的时候,我反复翻检十年来的各期《世界知识》。整整十年前,1991年,1月17日,巴格达时间凌晨2时40分(北京时间7时40分)。这一夜是个“无月之夜”,漆黑的夜色提高了军事行动的隐蔽性;这天也正是“涨潮之日”,海上舰只更加容易靠近伊拉克边境;而此时此刻正是人们熟睡之时。以美国为首的多国部队对伊拉克的“沙漠风暴”行动,以大规模的空袭开始了。数百枚“战斧”导弹从停泊在海湾的“密苏里”号和“威斯康星”号战列舰上呼啸而起,数百架美制F-15、F-16战斗机、F-111战斗轰炸机、F-117隐形战斗轰炸机、B-52战略轰炸机和英制“旋风”式战斗轰炸机等等相继起飞……
