Learning strategies occupy a pivotal position in the study of second language acquisition. This article will explore the characteristics of learning strategies of highly effective learners from the definition, classification and influencing factors of learning strategies, especially how English teachers should help students to develop correct and effective learning strategies in classroom teaching.
