The author of this paper argues that more than half of human colorectal cancers are caused by de novo, and their morphology is relatively flat. There is still no consensus on the causes of colorectal cancer. Morson believes that colorectal cancer originated from polyps, adenomas, and dysplasia, and denied denovo development. Kuramoto et al. made all cut large intestines into slices, confirming the presence of tiny de novo-induced colon cancer. For the report of Kuramoto et al., Tass et al.
