In this paper, the optical implementation of the perfect shuffle interconnection networks using CGH beamsplitter is proposed. The mathematical description of the 2-D PS interconnection function and several different schemes for implementing the free-space optical PS networks are given. The principles of both the object-image conjugate and object-image unconjugate schemes for implementing the PS using CGH beamsplitter are summarized. The experimental proof and a brief discussion are given.
