由于深受城乡二元对立思维惯性和作家们“为农民”创作观的影响,十七年农村题材小说家们普遍地在作品中进行城市负面形象的书写。本应是现代化重要表征物的城市,在他们笔下却成了逃避劳动之处、谋求私利之地与藏污纳垢之所。这种写作方式使得作品中的正面人物形象更为突出,宣扬农业合作化运动的主题更为凸显,有利于使十七年农村题材小说契合时代的需求。但同时却也妨害了作品的人性表现,削弱了作品的深度,损害了这些曾经的主流作品日后的文学史地位。
Due to the inertia of dualistic opposition between urban and rural areas and the creative concept of writers “for peasants ”, 17-year rural novels writers commonly write negative urban images in their works. Cities that should have been an important symbol of modernization have, in their writing, become places to evade labor and pursue their own interests and soil. This way of writing makes the positive figures in the works more prominent, the theme of promoting the agricultural cooperation movement is even more prominent, which is conducive to bringing the 17-year rural theme novels into line with the needs of the times. But at the same time, it also hinders the human performance of the works, weakens the depth of the works and undermines the literary history status of these once mainstream works.
