王小波是中国当代既有创作实绩又有哲学理念的重要作家,但由于其写法超前(带有解构主义色彩的后现代式写作)、体制外写作身份(不在布迪厄所谓的“文学场”中)和远离现实主义的创作传统等原因,他在生前身后都没有得到专业人士和主流批评界的充分认可,他的作家同行也大都三缄其口。而他获得的美誉主要来自读者的自发评价和口耳相传。这种文学现象是颇值得深思的。不过,随着“群选经典化”成为一种时代潮流,读者的反响可能会对专家学者的审美趣味和评判标准构成某种影响,从而在一定程度上改变王小波其人其作的接受格局。然而,由于当代文学体系结构的搭建隐含着权力之争,王小波在未来的十年里恐怕依然得游离于文学史之外,成为一个被读者看好却被专家忽视的作家。
Wang Xiaobo is an important writer with both contemporary and contemporary philosophical ideas in his creation in China. And his reputation gained mainly from the readers’ spontaneous evaluation and word of mouth. This literary phenomenon is quite worth pondering. However, as “grouping of classics” becomes a trend of the times, readers’ repercussions may exert some influence on the aesthetic taste and judgment standards of experts and scholars, and thus to some extent change their acceptance by Wang Xiaobo pattern. However, since the construction of contemporary literary structure implies the power struggle, Wang Xiaobo in the next ten years may still have to leave the literary history and become a writer who is optimistic about readers but ignored by experts.
